Dr. Rikke Schmidt Kjærgaard Honored With “Outstanding Leadership Award” At Dubai’s Education 2.0 Conference, 2024

Dubai, UAE — February 23, 2024 — Dr. Rikke Schmidt Kjærgaard, CEO of Videnskabsklubben (Science Club), was honored with the “Outstanding Leadership Award” for her extraordinary achievements in the education and learning sector at the Education 2.0 Conference, held at the InterContinental, Dubai Festival City, Dubai, UAE on February 20–22, 2024.

Dr. Rikke Schmidt Kjærgaard is the Founder and Executive Director of Science Club Denmark (Videnskabsklubben), a non-profit educational organization. She has a background as an internationally recognized scientist specializing in data visualization and molecular animation and holds a PhD in Science Communication.

In 2012, she became a member of the Young Academy under the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters. Dr. Kjærgaard recently received the prestigious Amalienborg Medal on behalf of Science Club Denmark, an honor presented by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II. Additionally, she authored ‘The Blink of an Eye’ (Hodder & Stoughton, UK, 2018).

Her steadfast commitment to transforming the education sector made her a deserving candidate to be recognized at the Education 2.0 Conference.
