About Junior Research Fellowship:
Junior research fellowship is training in methods of research under the expert guidance of faculty members/scientists working in University Departments/Institutes.
JRF is a scholar who get training under expert supervision of experienced faculty Professor/ Associate Professor for JRF & Head of the Department or Dean in case you are enrolled for SRF.

Tenure & Stipend for JRF:
JRF are offered stipend for their assistance in various projects or doctoral studies.
Tenure of JRF is two years and will not be extendable for CSIR NET.
Stipend provided for junior research fellowship is 16000 rs. per month for UGC NET & 25000 for CSIR NET JRF.
