Hitchhiking Is Apparently One More Thing Millennials Have Killed
Ester Bloom

Can we not blame Millennials for this? How about we blame the *parents* of Millennials that instilled in us* the total certainty that hitchhiking = death, dismemberment, rape and/or kidnapping. So, uh, if you want to blame someone, blame the Baby Boomers and their ‘the world is a terrible place, don’t trust anyone, here, have a structured supervised activity’ paranoia.

*Depending on the metric used, I am just on the leading edge of being a Millennial. I’m an Old Millennial. Or a Young Gen Xer. And I was in the generation still allowed to play outside unsupervised! But hitchhiking was totally verboten.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
