All distributed computing projects like SONM and Golem are facing a difficult problem: how do you protect a project ecosystem and your economy from byzantine computing nodes? What if an attacker patches a node and its local computing engine so it lies about its metrics and performed work? Usually, there are little to no answers to the problem in whitepapers. But this problem must be addressed because it makes project goals unachievable.
