Aidan Cody — Procurer
Despite being barely out of his teens Aidan has made himself an indispensable part of the Eggies World network. If you need anything, whether it be an Item from a Monster or an Earthen delicacy he will get it for you. His skill at moving in and out of places without being detected has also earned him the role of Professor Eggies go-between and, for a small fee, he will bring you, blindfolded, to Professor Eggies hideout.
Kye Bomber — Merc for Hire
Based next to the Lava River customers put up with the extreme heat in order to get inked by Bomber. Some opt for terrifying battle tattoos while others simply want to display their win count on their bodies. But his real job is as body for hire, ready to do the jobs others won’t, or are too scared to, do. Although he is willing to fight dirty he has a personal code of things he will not undertake, a line he will not cross — but so far no one has worked out where that is.
Tommy— Local Guide & General Adventurer
One of the few humans to arrive independent of the Vassal Corporation in the early days, Tommy has an endless thirst for exploring and an even more endless thirst for telling Tales about all the goings on Eggies World. His art can be purchased at some of the local stores too, depicting both the joy and the heartache of living on this newly born outpost. Sometimes, it is hard to tell where reality end and Tommy’s imagination begins but as you sip Lava Juice by the fireside it is impossible not to be transported into his World.
Haze— Owner of Solutions & Solutions
Best known for first discovering how to collect the amber particles that the Monsters produce and forming them into ORBZ, Haze rarely finds a problem she can not fix. With a background in chemistry and biology she has been busy collecting, and collating, all the newly discovered Flora and Fauna on Eggies World to distill into her Tonics and Medicines. Despite being untested and unregulated she has many customers who swear that her various solutions have almost magic-like qualities.
Off Worlders
The Off Worlders of Eggies World come from planets other than Earth. They are the lifeblood that keep everything running. The Traders, The Bar Owners, The Bookies & Fight Organiser. They have come to make a better life for themselves and, while some are very welcoming, others will happily steal your life if they think it is better.
However, there is also talk of more ancient visitors who are thought to have made their homes in the desert. It is said that to see them is to instantly forget them. Knowing only that they have ever existed by the sweet scent and pale, purple mist that floats up from the ripples they leave in the sand. Known for now as Sand Vapes, many believe they are merely fairy tales.
TimChic —Bar and Battle Ring Owner
One of the earliest Off-Worlders to see the potential money making possibilities in the Monster Battles. He opened the first Inn/Bar/Fighting Ring on the planet. Here the Lava Juice always flows freely as do the bets and the punches.
DellaP — Information Specialist & Trader
From a planet obsessed with categorising and labelling all they find, DellaP makes it his mission to collect all the Eggies World knowledge he can. Having set up a tent on the marketplace on the outskirts of the desert, you can visit The DITO: Della’s Information Trading Post. And, for a small fee, you too can know as much as he does.
RedRare — Profession Unknown
Her name unpronounceable by most has merely become know by the unique red glow of her skin. It is said she may be the only one to have met the Sand Vapes and remembered. If this is the case, she is not telling….for now.
Styx — Hacksaw & Transporter of the Dead
There are no formal Doctors on Eggies World but when a Monster needs a battle wound sewn up or a civilian has had an unfortunate encounter with the branches of the Bone Bush then they all eventually end up at Styx’s. Patching and fixing a never ending line of people and Monsters. He also makes the arduous journey to the Lake of the Lost, transporting the dead Monsters and submerging them in the dense, and sometimes healing, waters. He always has spectators on his return journey as everyone is keen to see which Monsters have risen again!
BOT4242
The saying ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ could have been created specifically for BOT4242. An Off-Worlder who fled his planet after it was invaded, he knows the value of a good disguise. To most he is simply an autobot, short on emotion and high on disdain. He is most often found behind a glass-protected counter taking bets on anything from Monster fights to how many days it will be till Prof Eggies is captured.
However, his real reason for being is to help Monsters that no longer wish to fight escape their human masters and flee Eggies World. Few would imagine how much his auto-heart bleeds when yet another Monster is carried off to the Lake of the Lost.
Dem— Trader in Equipment & Weapons
With a stall equipped to provide all you need for the most dangerous journeys on Eggies World, Dem is never without customers. For those with the special password and the right amount of ORBZ, he can connect you with certain items that others might deem illegal on Eggies World
Rhea — Trader in Wearables
Situated near The DITO, Rhea’s tent provides a welcome change of pace. Dealing mainly in wearables for both Monsters and their Owners, she can also match your Monster with their perfect pet. With tables and chairs set up outside, people come for the ORBZ-infused Sunglasses but stay for the good company.
Felix— Owner of Nirvana Tonics
Despite his brutal features Felix specialises in anything and everything that makes you feel good. He is known by some as Dr Felix due to the happy effect his special Eggies World food and drink have. His own Monster being the first to reaches the highest state of Happiness. Morally against Monsters fighting he has come to Eggies World to help find a way for those Monsters and Owners who wish to follow a less violent path
PS A quick note about The Monsters of Eggies World
Originally created by Professor Eggies to be his own personal army for revenge the Monsters on Eggies World have now developed their own path. While some are loyal to their Human owners to the point that they would die for them, others secretly plot the day they can remove all Non-Monsters from Eggies World.
Over time the Monsters themselves have created friendships and enemies. Alliances formed and broken in the heat of Battle. Relationships developed off the Battlefield some through genuine connections, others through necessity.
