FIDV established its Young Leader’s Board in 2014 to engage and energize the next generation of members. The group has since grown to 50 members and has raised more than $300,000 to support FIDV programs.

The Young Leader’s Board, headed by Jacob A. Kent and Michael Shmuely, hosts several annual events that draw hundreds of attendees. The Fall Kickoff introduces new members to FIDV’s invaluable rehabilitation work with injured veterans at care centers throughout Israel. The annual Young Leadership Gala celebrates the achievement of Israeli veterans and raises money for FIDV programs through major donations, sponsorships and a live auction.
