How it feels to be at level 0 again?

Another New year!

Soon the clock will strike 12 with loud countdowns of headbangers, high on spirits. Another year will pop up and your mind runs up to spell it correctly for a month later on.

And suddenly it tucks into the routine. That’s how it goes, No ?

Resolution-list, bucket-list, high emotions, lost love, new love, life changing decisions, and perfectionism.

Meanwhile, The noise of 2016….

Pokemon go, Deepmind winning Go, Self-driving cars, Rio Olympics, Paralympics, Hillary Clinton, President-Elect Donald Trump, Brexit, Rexit, Demonetisation, Fidel Castro, Jayalalitha, Big buyouts(Semiconductor convergence, Linkedin, Time Warner, Yahoo), Theranos setback and magic leap sensations, Big funding & Capital dumping, Star wars — the force awakens, Panama papers, Surgical Strike, Mosquito-borne diseases, Crashes & accidents, Bombings & firings, earthquakes & floods & hurricanes, Pollution, Jat sabotage & Protests, Caprio getting Oscar, Roseberg winning & retiring, Ronaldo getting Ballon d’Or will be all gone.

But it will leave us with a lot to reflect on.

“Listen to the mustn’ts, child. Listen to the don’ts. Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me… Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”

Everything gravitates to ground-zero.

New Book. New stories. New aspirations.

Life has different sections such as happy questions which you are pro at and sad quandaries which you hate the most.

When you enter in a game, you read the content and learn the rules, then start with level 0. You hop on to different levels as go through the game and reach the level 10. At this stage, you have exhausted lot of your energy but you become adroit to excel a difficult stage.

There strikes the catch-22, Now to reach the next stage you need to actually jump rather than hop. That’s what 20’s is all about. Jumping and flying.

“Those who don’t jump never fly.”

What if you fall down to level 0 while jumping and it results in a reset state. Or what if you make it through. This perplexed emotion staggers your risking capability day-to-day.

Somehow pulling full throttle, you jump off the cliff but not land on the right island. You can’t always get it right, and it happens, accept it, jump back on and try again.

We are all failures — at least the best of us are..

But to change life, one has to strive relentlessly with all the weapons. Although, perseverance and grit are key to achieve success in any field. Anyone who masters his/her craft will face moments of doubt and somehow find the inner resolve to keep going.

But, the Hardest thing is to know when to keep going and when to move on.

You can’t stand beating on a wall and hoping to transform it into a door. If something is not working, smart people don’t repeat it endlessly. They revise. They adjust. They pivot. They quit. As the saying goes, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

“All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.”
How it feels “ the trance”

Failure is an ecstasy that imbibes lot of positivity and freedom to sew new strings — more colorful and more brighter. Only if, you consider failure as an experience rather than a crestfallen situation. It creates —

Clarity: Failures force us to clear out the noise and zero in on what is most important.

Champions: True champions stick by your side during the tough times. Thankfully pleasant weather friends disappear when the water gets rough.

Creativity: Failure creates constraints. You must level up your creativity to generate fresh possibilities and attract new resources to implement the new vision.

Freedom: Failure strips you of your notion of invincibility. Accepting your failure takes an act of humility. If you own your failure, you are liberated. You can now go about your business without the constant pressure to appear to be perfect.

Always believe..

“The future never happens; there will always be a future.”
