Really interesting form of change here. Are we changing for the better? Why must we surrender our own minds, our own understanding and judgement of what may or may not be offensive so that everything we say and do can now be deemed racist, offensive or otherwise unacceptable even if we don’t believe it should be? You may feel good about surrendering your internal judgement to others, I am not. Your individuality rests firmly in your ability to express yourself the way you so desire and when you let someone else dictate what is offensive, you surrender a part of your will to them.
