We all know KYC process can be a bit painful and often also time consuming. The reason the companies are including it more and more in their processes involving the end users/customers is to be on the safe side of the legislation and consequently to avoid people with bad intentions. It is obvious that KYC process reduces this risk a lot, but can not completely eliminate it.
On the other side, the users/customers are prepared to do the KYC process as they believe in good intention of it and want to enjoy the certain benefit of the product that convinced them it is worth of doing KYC at all.
As all the financial institutions, rent a cars, libraries and also ICOs, also at Elements Estates we developed a KYC process to “know our customers” and protect them and ourselves. The process (as it usually is for such processes) might look complicated at the beginning. But the truth is that after completing one or two KYCs, all the rest are similar.
To make it go smoothly through, we prepared this article for you, to see what to expect in our KYC process, so you already have prepared all the needed information and documents when at the very beginning of it.
Let’s go over it step-by-step.
Step 1: Go to https://elementsestates.io/ and click on whitelist button.
Step 2: Enter your E-mail address and click GET KYC FORM.
Step 3: Check your inbox for an e-mail with the unique, permanent login link
Note: If you didn’t receive an email, please also check the spam or promotions folder of your inbox
Step 4: Click on the link you received.
Step 5: Fill in your personal information on page 1/2
Once you have clicked on the link in your inbox, you will be redirected to your personal whitelist form. Here you need to fill in your personal data.
At the bottom of the Personal Information (page 1/2) you will find the ETH wallet address and ETH amount fields. Here you will need to fill in your ownETH wallet address and the indicated amount you want to invest.
Note: this amount won’t be deducted from your ETH wallet, it’s an indication of your future investment.
After you have filled in all the fields, press continue to go to the second page.
Step 6: Fill in your personal information page 2/2
On this page you need to submit a copy of your ID. There are basically 5 steps you need to take. We have numbered each one for your convenience.
1: ID document number: Make sure to fill in the right document number which is stated on your ID
2: ID document type: Select your type of ID from the dropdown menu
3: ID Issue and expiration date: Select the Issue date and expiration date stated on the ID
4: Photo proof of the submitted ID: Upload a front AND backside photo of your ID
5: Utility bill: Upload a photo of your latest utility bill. Make sure your information is readable
When it’s all filled in, press the “Submit KYC Application’’ button and you have successfully completed the KYC process.
