This is why Socrates’ thinking led to the Western philosophy, while Nietzsche thoughts led to the RELIGION of the Nazzis. Although Nietzsche was a great mind, he also had problems of a psychiatric nature that -if he lived today- might have been treated by an expert.

Nietzshe used aphorisms, something common to religious thinkers while Socrates used proof of what he said, somethink common to thinkers and even scientists. And most of all, Socrates used dialog while Nietzshe’s thoughts are only a continuous monologue.

And that is why the “know Thyself” school of psychology is relevant today while Nietzshe’s thinking can not be used in such a way mostly.
