Love Crazed

The rain is pouring down outside and here I am watching cartoons alone, and all that ran through my mind was I wonder what my beautiful crush was doing, as bad as she was probably with a boyfriend, and even though I knew she had to be taken I couldn’t stop thinking about those long legs, waist that was just right, those breast that she always showed just the top of no matter what kind of shirt she was wearing and hair touching the middle of her back you’d swear she bought. Man she was beautiful and way out of my league I was 5’6 the only muscle I had were shirts I was a nerd in school and it’s the same way in the real world the only thing I really had going for me was a nice low haircut and my smooth medium brown complexion, I knew I looked good just wish my confidence was the same, a woman like her would never be with a guy like me so all I could do is dream, imagine what it would be like if I could just get her alone, lay her on my king size bed hold her arms above her head and kiss her neck *knock knock*

What the hell who is that at my door, I hop out of bed throw on a t-shirt and slip into some slippers I always where when I’m home, dammit its Warrens the furniture company I’m renting my stuff from, maybe if I’m quiet they won’t know I’m here. “We know you in there Haiden” I heard one of them say I recognized him because he was the one who delivered the stuff. I kept quiet and didn’t move, soon I thought I heard them walking back towards the stairs muttering something I couldn’t make out, I decided to stay still a little while longer just to be sure. I walk over to my window as quietly as I could I look out and realize the truck is gone, “phew” I can relax I know they won’t be back for a few days but either way I got to come up with some cash I’m almost two months behind. My life has really fallen off track since I got fired, all because of a few call ins. I laid back in my bed staring at the ceiling replaying what happened in my mind and wondering how could I be so stupid.

It was a cloudy day looked like it would rain but never did and then I saw her the baddest dark chocolate female I had ever laid my eyes on thicker that I’d ever dated but her shape almost got me on hard right there in front of the shoe store at the mall she came over to me and tried to upsell some phone service company I wasn’t paying much attention to it and out of nowhere like someone else had said it I heard “ill think about it if I could get your number” she laughed and I just smiled and said “im for real” so she grabbed my phone and put her number in” I walked off in total shock from looking at me people assume I’m a ladys man a player when in fact I have the hardest time talking to females I textd her right then in there and for the next year and a half we were inseparably . thinking about some of those times have me still wondering how it all went wrong, it had been almost 9 months since we broke up and I still haven’t recovered.

*beep beep* alarm clock, I hadn’t even realized I fell asleep, what time is it? 7am time for the job hunt to begin. After losing my last job I kinda got picky wanted to make just as much as I did then but I’m realizing I may just have to settle, I find some black slacks with a baby blue button down top slide on my loafers, I stared at myself in the mirror as I brushed my hair “I can do this, today I will find a job” I told myself that out loud but in the back of my mind I didn’t believe it myself, grabbed my keys and a apple out the fridge and out the door I went. I didn’t hit the parking lot without first checking to make sure nobody I owed was waiting, when I was sure the coast was clear I walked over to my freshly washed all black 4 door sedan and started it up. I hit main street first I knew they typically are hiring first of every month and with Thanksgiving right around the corner maybe id get lucky. I was in luck first place I seen when I hit main st had a now hiring sign called Ashley’s Pizzeria, I parked my car to the side of the brick building and walked in with confidence you could see in my steps, the placed smelled of fresh cheese and something sweet that smelled delicious. “Is a manager in” I asked a short blonde haired girl that was wiping down the counters, without saying a word to me she turned and walked off, after a few minutes a lady that stood about 5’5 with honey blonde weave came up to the counter she spoke but I couldn’t hear what she was saying, she was so light I couldn’t tell what race she was, I shook myself back to reality, yes I saw your now hiring sign” I said, “aw yes” she said as she pulled an application from under the counter what type of position were you looking for” a supervisor or management position I’d prefer but I’m open” do you have any experience and with slight hesitation I told her no but I do have a degree in science I’m sorry your over qualified she said with a stern look as she started sliding the application back under the counter” please ma’am I’m desperate I just need to make some extra money I’m very hard worker” well we do have a driver position for immediate hire do you have a driver’s license and insurance? Yes ma’am I do” she pulled the app back out and told me to fill it out, as I turned and walked to a booth I could feel her staring at me, but when I turned around she wasn’t even at the counter anymore “okay chill out Haiden you buggin”. As I sat their filling out my application you’d think I’d got sucked into a movie out the corner of my eye I see my beautiful crush walk through the front door my mouth dropped she had on some blue jean skinnies and some kind of grey Madonna top her hair had been curled and she looked better than ever, as she stood at the counter waiting to be serviced I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to jump up and run out or go over and speak to her it was the first time I had ever seen her by herself, my mind was racing what to do get up and go or go over and speak. Without a second thought I stood up and ran out the door, when I reached my car I could barely believe how chicken I was, I tucked my shirt back in and walked back in the store and there she stood talking to the short blonde haired girl like she hadn’t even realized I had ever been in the store let alone just ran out like I stole something, I waited a little ways back from her til the cashier walked away to start her order, my crush leaned back on the counter and started texting on her phone, I walked up to her “ppl usual dnt order pizza this early in the morning” I said she looked me up and down like she was trying to process if I was even worth a response “I was putting in a order for later” she said and she looked me in my face and look intrigued, I knew then I had a chance and this was it “oh ok party later, we sharen or nah?” “naw” she said in a playful tone , well in case I happen to crash yo party on accident you should probably know my name its Haiden” she laughed” and reached out for my hand which was extended to shake hers “my names titi” oh ok that’s cute” I said letting her hand go even though I wanted to hold it forever. I tore off a piece of my application and wrote my name and number down and as I handed it to her I said “well call me in case you really do wanna invite me” with a smile of confidence that quickly faded she returned my gesture with a “naw” without even realizing it had came out my mouth I said “what” in a tone that sounded more hurt that shocked, she handed me her phone and said “just put it in” I laughed it off and as I was texting myself from her phone the cashier came back up and just as she turned to get her receipt I clicked on her facebook app typed in my name and sunt myself a request, she turned getting ready to leave so I handed her her phone and said don’t “forget about me”
