Trekking difficulty levels are measured as the altitude, geo structure of the Himalayan and the duration of the trekking. To know better about the routes, trips are divided into different grades. It is important to get information about the trekking route before you starting the trek in any part of the world.

List of Trekking difficulty levels

Easy Trek or Trek for Beginner

In this grade, those who don’t have any experience with trekking and hiking, they can do according to this grade. Everyone can do the easy trek like old, children and family can do easily and get more fun. This belongs to the elevation below the 4000 meters.

Moderate Trek or Demanding Trek

This types of treks are the bit challenging for the first time trekkers. It needs little hiking as well trekking experience. The usual attitude is below 5600 meters. We need to walk up and down and sometimes higher passes, where we can enjoy the close view of the Mountains. For people like older and children, this types of treks are more challenging.

These are called demanding trek because most of the people are wanting to do. Mostly, all the base camp treks are kept in the moderate trek. Mostly, we have to walk around 4–6 hours per day.

Challenging Treks

These treks are the most adventure trips. High altitude treks need to cross high passes, snow-filled ways above 5000 meters up to 60/65000 meters. These are the most difficult trekking routes. It is easier for those people who had done moderate before.
