About time and no time

My brother once told me that there was no such thing as “I have no time”. I didn’t understand him at first but having observed myself and others made me to acknowledge that he was right. It seems that we always have time for things we want to do and never for things we don’t want to do. For instance, I have always found time and possibility to study Italian, Spanish, French. But as soon as it came to German — what a pity, too many things going on right now, just no time at the moment, may be next month. Year after year. Time had nothing to do with it. I was frightened by the enormous complexity of this great language, I was afraid that the learning process would be difficult and it would take ages to master it even at the intermediate level. I was right in all three. But TIME had nothing to do with it.

I’m writing this because today was one more busy day when I started thinking: “How on Earth am I going to fit in my exercise and the blog?”. My brother would probably answer: “What do you normally do at 5 o’clock in the morning?”

Yesterday I had another inspiring lesson with my dance teacher. She told me that in a dance no movement is ever separate. That we flow from one to another.

We flow. Gracefully. In time. With the time. On time. It’s hard to say where the dance ends and the normal life starts. Or are they the same thing now?…

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
