Update 6.1.1 release: Mandatory wallet update and budget launch.
Update:
After finding a bug in 6.0.0 release we had to update the wallet, last working version is 6.1.1 please update if you haven’t done it yet. You can find update instructions on our Discord server.
Good news everyone. Tonight we are releasing new wallet ver. 6.0.0 This update is mandatory, after implementation old wallet version will become obsolete.
Firstly update has to be applied by mining pools and exchanges, therefore be prepared for some maintenance and downtime at pools and exchange services. Secondly by hot and cold master-nodes and general wallet users. Pre-compiled binaries for faster node node updates, and fixed MN install script will follow shortly.
The most important task for now, is performing network upgrade fast and avoid possible forks. We need every Ellerium network participant to update to 6.0.0 as soon as possible.
6.0.0 changes:
After this update the block reward distribution will change to:
1.2 ELP Miners | 1.2 ELP Masternodes | 0.6 ELP Ellerium HUB.
After network upgrade is finished:
I. We will publish detailed info on our plans for 1st HUB project.
II. Give credit to the devs that help us made this update possible and details of our agreement.
III. Shortly after we will release a 6.0.1 wallet version with interface improvements.
Important notice:
Before we start Alpha we will have to make it even with some of our community members that supported us during the difficult times. There are several people in Ellerium community that contributed ELP to dev fund and made this update possible. We will be paying out those contributors using budget funds gathered at start and make this process as transparent as possible. All transactions from budget address will be broadcast with explanation in a dedicated Discord (contributor-refunds) channel.
