Not that long ago I read something written by a short man who described a lot of what you do particularly about always being expected to make way for taller people (men mostly) when passing on the street.
I’m 6 feet tall and was at least 5"10 by the end of 6th grade. I was bullied incessantly for it until well into my 20s, but I was only bullied by men (even though I was often asked by women if I were a model). I’m not sure what the deal is — what is the need to do this? Shorter people shouldn’t be treated like children and tall people shouldn’t be treated like monsters. I agree that it’s perhaps not on par with bias and bullying over sexual orientation or race, but it’s still harmful and hurtful and unneccessary.
