This is an interesting post which has 2 sections: ads and news. The section on was well written and could have stood on its own. It explained the realities of banner ads and ad-based business model. I dont believe anyone could still have any form of doubts about the demise of banner ads after reading the post.
On the second part, I believe its another good idea on the future of news but it might not implementable in certain regions like Africa due to consumer behaviour, payment infrastructure, demography, proliferation of feature phones, etc.
All the same it is a good post.
