Yesterday I woke up and ate my breakfast (a coffee a sandwich and some piece of fruit), it wasn´t as beautiful as Instragram brunchs, those which have lot of kind of fruits, bread rolls and jams with gorgeous colors. Them I drove my old Citroen, although it doesn’t have a led panel where you can check your mail, tweets and all social media stuff , I love it.
My “To do list” had a lot tasks to do, but I was tired and weak, since the last Thursday I am dealing with a kind of flu and sometimes I have fever. So I did those “low priority” tasks that we never do: delete spam emails and useless files, review some folders, etc.
In the afternoon it was supposed that I have to ride at least 20 km with my bicycle (I always do it) but I had again fever and we have a big storm over Europe with rain and strong winds. So I decided stay at home and take a warm shower instead of a cold shower “that gives you a lot energy and is good for your brain”. On my to do list was also take a lesson to improve my English, but due to the fever, unintentionally I slept a long nap.
Did I feel guilty because I didn’t do my “to do list” for that day ? Really not, as you say we are not robots and we wouldn’t have to live our lives as if they were an advertisement or an Instagram or a Pinterest photo. Some days are great and some days are bad, and there lots of external things that you cannot control.
Thank you so much for this article.
