I live quite near California’s Napa and Sonoma valleys, and spitting distance from Lodi (as in old vine zins). I’m a wine idiot and I don’t much care. Not knowing much about wine (except that Lodi is one of the places where Zinfandel grows) keeps the door wide open for me. I’m always trying something new. Almost everything I’ve tried drinkable (ok, there were a couple of exceptions), many were quite good and some were downright superb. If I’ve learned anything it’s that, like chocolate and pizza, it’s all a matter of taste.
