Refocusing on what is important, create value, support haitian open source community

For the past months, my interests in mobile and web application have kept growing especially around the NodeJS and React (JS and Native) ecosystem.

But I was distracted, distracted by many useless and worthless discussions, activities which bring no real value for my long-term success. So today I decided to refocus my energy and time in writing my apps and to share more with the open source community and especially with folks in the Free Code Camp community in Haiti. And also to leave behind the distractions.

My first series of posts on medium will be about Vinn Achte.

Vinn Achte is my code name for a mobile application build with the React Native and a NodeJS (backend). The final name of the app will be public once I release a beta version in the Play Store. Vinn Achte aims to encourage and mostly facilitate friends and relative to sell to each other by providing a simple and trustworthy space.

Why blogging?

First, I want to be more accountable to myself and secondly, I hope other developers here in Haiti will start blogging more because we need to be more open about our experiences so other can try to replicate our success but more importantly avoid our mistakes. The only way we can and will grow together.

My first post will be about version control and more specifically about @git. So stay tuned.
