“Don’t you want to live forever in a perfect world,”
She would say with such naiveness, “with no chaos?”
No pain or suffering to build character
No cynicism to add to humor
No dilemmas to add to arguments
No mischief to dally with adventures,
“Peace on Earth,” she would add interrupting my thoughts.
She patiently waiting for my response,
Sweetness looking back at me.
“Sounds more like a living nightmare.”
