Rookery Bay Adventure Race- Nov 22: Looking for some adventure and outdoor time in Naples? The 5th Annual Rookery Bay Adventure Race, presented by Up A Creek Kayak Tours, is a 3k kayak paddle in Henderson Creek followed by a 4K trail run. You can participate individually or as a relay or tandem team, but make sure to sign up quickly as there is only a limited number of kayaks available.
Naples Fall Classic Half Marathon- Nov 23: This new Naples marathon offers scenic waterfront views, beautiful nature trails and bridges, and more. The 5k run and walk occurs on the pathways of Sugden Regional Park and participants will get views of Lake Avalon as they wind through wooded areas. With cheering fans and glimpses of luxury homes and beautiful scenery, what more could an athlete want?
Christmas on Third- Festival of Lights- Nov 24: Welcome the holiday season with the annual Christmas on Third event. The event takes place in the Third Street South shopping district and offers live holiday music, a tree lighting ceremony and a snowfall event. What better way to welcome the holiday season?
Christmas Walk & Tree Lighting Ceremony- Dec 04: Celebrate the holidays with friends and family during the 40th annual Christmas Walk & Tree Lighting Ceremony on 5th Avenue South. Enjoy entertainment from dance troupes and local choral groups and choirs, and generally just enjoy the coming together of the community. With beautiful decorations and a chance to see Mr. and Mrs. Claus hand out candy, the holiday season has never looked so good.
Franklin Templeton Shootout- Dec 08–13: If you’re a golf fan, don’t miss out as 8 of the top 30 players on the Official World Golf Rankings compete in the longest running PGA Tour sanctioned post-season event.
12 Days of Wild Holiday Fun at Naples Zoo- Dec 12–24: The only thing better than seeing the awesome animals at Encore? Seeing them open beautifully wrapped presents. For 12 days in December, the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens will deliver gifts to the animals and are giving zoo guests the chance to watch them rip into and enjoy their presents!
Christmas Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon- Dec 21: Complete in the last triathlon of the year at the beautiful Sugden Regional Park. Complete with a swim, run and bike ride, this event will keep you moving while you experience gorgeous surroundings, with 100% water views during the run, and unbelievable weather.

Dogs in the Garden Walk- Every Tuesday Through April 28: Have a furry friend you want to experience the Naples Botanical Garden with? Explore the cultivated gardens and nature preserve with them every Tuesday from 8am-11am.
The Third Street South Farmer’s Market- Every Saturday: Every Saturday from 7:30am until 11:30am, take your opportunity to visit The Third Street South Farmer’s Market. The Farmer’s Market has so much to offer including fresh produce, cheeses, pastas, flowers, seafood, basked foods, prepared foods, soaps, jams and relishes, music, and palm front baskets and hats made on the spot. It is the perfect weekend activity for yourself or to enjoy with your family!
Naples may be known for its beaches and homes, but the Naples event scene is not to be missed.
