Customer Update: August 19
So many things have happened since our Facebook update, where to begin?

We have teamed up with MedicaSwiss, a Swiss company, where we will base our European operations, and move all our coin sales and nodes to our new servers there. Our Lead Developer, Dr. Viviani, who resides in Italy now, will be working from our new office space at MedicaSwiss. It’s just two hours from his Italian home, a lot more convenient than Coral Springs, Florida. We are operating as an independent division of MedicaSwiss until we generate enough revenue to become independent as a Swiss company. Our European operations should become self-funding. Helping us do that will be Stefano Corsetti, with whom Maurizio has a long business relationship, and who will be working on finding Swiss companies to buy nodes, developing sales leads, and helping us with engagements, as well as branching out to other European clients.

Gianni is back from his holiday and moving forward with the block explorer, the stand-alone wallet, and creating a BTC/DNA sales portal/exchange for our site in case no exchange lists us. Meanwhile, we have a dozen outstanding requests for listing, and two that are in progress, one of which looks very promising in that it will likely become the first exchange to list us. Their team have been very proactive in working with us to get a Multichain node up and running on their servers. We hope other exchanges will follow their lead. We will let you know as soon as we get it listed. 10 days left for us to keep to our roadmap target of listing in August. Fingers crossed!
We sold our first node, to Codigo46, a leading Mexican genomics company. They will be working with us also to help develop the Latin-America market. This beta node will be very important for helping us test scalability. We continue with several other ongoing engagements to place beta-nodes as well.
We have a Sales Director now, Juan Pablo Baglieri, helping us develop a sales methodology, and working with me closely as I prepare for several sales trips to three major centers of genomics commerce and research in the US: Boston, Research Triangle, N.C., and San Diego. My first trip will be the first week of September, to Boston, with NC in October, and SD in November. I will also be rather busy the next few months pitching to several VCs who are lining up, getting interested, and hopefully getting as excited as we are about to see how big this thing could be.
Most people don’t know it yet, but the Gene-Chain will be the TCP/IP of the new genomic internet, absolutely necessary and ubiquitous, powering the genomic data revolution and tying together the future of genomic research.
Let’s let the world know!
David
