Adolescent/teen is entered puberty (generally greater than 9 years old, with breast bud). And adult is who reached the reproductive capacity (usually older than 11 years old).
Adolescents/teenagers are not children.

This is contradictory. So a teen is the same as an adult? No. One big difference is brain development, such as a more developed prefrontal cortex in adults to control the impulsivity and emotional brain responses we saw when they were teenagers.
