”One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.“ ‭‭- Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬

✨ Our ultimate goal in life is not really about getting rich, climbing the corporate ladder, graduating with honors, gaining the respect of other people, or becoming successful in life. It is all about this earnest desire to build an intimate relationship with God so on the day we reach paradise we are finally happy to be home. ✨

As we journey through life, it’s easy to become consumed by the pursuit of worldly success and recognition. We chase after wealth, status, and achievement, hoping that they will bring us fulfillment and happiness.

But in Psalm 27, we are reminded of a deeper longing, a more profound desire that transcends the fleeting pleasures of this world. David’s heart cry is not for riches or fame, but for the presence of God, to dwell in His house and behold His beauty.

This earnest desire to seek after God above all else is a reflection of our true purpose and calling in life. It’s a recognition that true fulfillment and happiness can only be found in an intimate relationship with our Creator, where our souls find rest and our spirits find renewal.

So let’s realign our priorities, dear friends, and set our hearts on the one thing that truly matters — the pursuit of God’s presence. Let’s make it our daily quest to dwell in His house, to behold His beauty, and to seek His guidance and wisdom in all that we do.

For in the end, it is not our earthly achievements that define us, but our relationship with God and our readiness to dwell in His presence both now and for all eternity.
