INT. FUNERAL HOME — DAY
A small room decorated with crowns of flowers. A group of twenty people wearing all-black clothes mourning.
A YOUNG MAN, in his early teens, red swollen eyes, looks at a COFFIN in front of him.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Ever heard right before you die you see images of your life as if it were a movie?
(A beat)
Well, Christian did not. He changed them. He did not die as an Indian virgin boy raised in the Bronx.
INT. CHRISTIAN’S BEDROOM — DAY
A room plastered with criquet athletes and a shelf with books about Jainism and Real State.
CHRISTIAN (15), rounded, with red frame glasses, lays on top of the bed with SALMA (15), skinny to the point you would want to feed her a veggie burger.
Christian moves his hand up her inner thigh as they kiss clumsily. She opens her eyes and stops his hand from reaching the zipper of her jeans.
SALMA
Have you ever —
(A beat)
— done it?
Christian’s face freezes with fear.
INT. MARY BEDROOM — EVENING — FLASHBACK
A girly room with orange walls and crouched curtains. Christian is passionately kissing MARY (14).
His eyes are dozed out. They’re out of it.
Christian pulls away from her and VOMITS all over the Minnie Mouse carpet.
END OF FLASHBACK
INT. CHRISTIAN’S BEDROOM — DAY
CHRISTIAN
Two times.
Salma looks down disappointed.
