“Agility is the new currency..” great quote. Absolutely . Irony of needing to move fast, loose and with accuracy in order to achieve long term objectives. Amazon look like an anomaly to other publicly listed companies, because they are planning 25 years ahead, while the others are pleasing shareholders quarter to quarter. Surviving but not thriving, not something to be proud of. Case in point, IBM, we have a company which is dragging legacy into the future like a dead horse behind it, all the while using creative accounting to label all sales as “cloud” even legacy outsourcing deals are cloud at IBM.
