Hyperion “Curated lists”

A few days ago, we released a new version of our tools that checks hyperion nodes and provides a curated lists of nodes running hyperion on Telos and EOS Blockchain Networks:

CPU frequency scaling enables the operating system to scale the CPU frequency up or down in order to save power. CPU frequencies can be scaled automatically depending on the system load, in response to ACPI events, or manually by userspace programs.

The CPU governors for Linux Kernels 4.5

It chooses a frequency divided into two groups: the trivial and the non-trivial. There are three trivial frequency governors: performance, which always chooses the highest frequency, powersave, which always chooses the lowest, and userspace, which allows a suitably privileged user-space process to make the decision by writing to a file in sysfs…

Hello, everyone in the EOS community. Vote to Change!
We have been looking for an update to Vote to Change in a long time.

The Vote to Change began in August 2018 with the “voting campaign of minority shareholders” for the development of the EOS ecosystem.
In EOS, which is based on DPoS, it is very important that BP (Block Producers), which are the basis of the ecosystem, properly use the delegated authority and contribute sincerely to increase network value. …

Anyone who has followed EOS over the past few months is aware of the problems with the history APIs. The legacy plugin originally provided by B1 is deprecated and running it in full mode has been a nightmare for the few BPS that still provide it.

One solution provided by greymass team is the light history api. It provides history for the last n transactions for every account. This way you can cover 99% of the use cases.

For anyone interested in learning more about the importance of having nodes with history API I recommend listening to the EOS Aurora…

Hello everybody, after very hard of work is a pleasure for us the announcement about TELOS Mainnet Activation in less than 48 hours.

The network will be activate when EOSIO producer signs block one million blocks

The estimated date, is next Wednesday December 19 2018 at 15:14:56 GMT+0100. The formula for calculate it, was counted two seconds by blocks left: ((369943 blocks left / 2 seconds) / 3600 minutes) = 51,38 hours -48 = (2 days, 3 hours and 23 minutes)

Check here the realtime countdown: https://telosactivation.eosmetal.io/

What Can I do before activation?

You can access to your account (EOS Genesis Snapshot) and vote for your prefered BPs (We recomend choose a Proxy…

Decentralization, independence and transparency are at the core of our values and we are dedicated to maintaining this philosophy throughout our existence as a Block Producer for the EOS community. From the very beginning, we have taken some strong steps in the direction of our core values which includes

  1. Dedicated Bare Metal Servers.

2. Multiple Datacenters from Varied Providers.

3. International hosting locations selected to be geopolitically solvent.

4.Entirely Self-Funded, No Outside Investors to Please.

EOS-Names received a lot of love from the community members. As we mentioned in the last post introducing EOS-Names have been one of the fun projects for us. Based on the feedback and suggestions we have added three new features.

Leet (or “1337”), also known as eleet or leetspeak, is a system of modified spellings and verbiage used primarily on the Internet for many phonetic languages.

EOS-Names filters numbers from 1–5, and shows the availability of names.

On-chain businesses, smart contract, marketplaces, services need USD prices to maintain the expenses and expenditure. Think of an online commercial entity which accepts payment in EOS, it needs a fair price which could convert the USD rates to EOS or vice-versa real-time using contract. Use cases of such a contract providing the real-time price extend to futures, insurance and many other commercial contracts.

Delphi Oracle by EOSTitan

The DelphiOracle contract acts as a multi-party source of truth, designed to provide the near-realtime price of the EOS/USD pair to other smart contracts or to external users.

A unique feature of EOS compared to other blockchains is that it allows a user to create a unique, human-readable account name. This helps to alleviate issues that arise through the use of public keys or public key hashes as the main identifier of an account, i.e. the long strings of characters seen on the Bitcoin and Ethereum networks.

As a measure against squatting, users could only get 12 characters long accounts names (including lowercase letter a-z and numbers 1–5), fewer character names (<12 characters) are put up for auction much like domain names, which may or may not be…

We announced our candidature in late March- this year and a lot have happened since then (this space is fast-paced). Today, we are excited to share initiatives we are taking for EOS ecosystem and infrastructure support/changes we are making to serve the community better.

We have been a paying standby producer for 69 days and our average payout is around 103 EOS (current position — 77, voting percentage 0.48%(about 21 million), 1494 unique Voters and 38 Proxies!). We are re-staking most of our rewards by limiting our expenditure to address future infrastructure developments (RAM supply and infrastructural upgrades).

Key Initiatives we have taken in 3 months—

  1. Sister chains…
