The Winner of the 2016 #accelerateBOS Pitch Contest is Heather White & Trillfit!

This past Saturday we hosted our 4th #accelerateBOS pitch contest at the Roxbury Innovation Center in partnership with LISC-Boston and Nuestra Communidad Development Corporation, and LivePlan.

This year’s #accelerateBOS class was an amazing mix of individuals, business ideas & strategy, we could not be more thankful to share this experience with all of our entrepreneurs & celebrate them in their success.

Our class members all brought their ‘A’ game and pitched their concepts and products with passion and gusto, but the winner of this year’s (2016) pitch contest & $10,000 was Heather White with Trillfit!

We want to thank this year’s judges: Steven Rumpler, Senior Business Manager at the City of Boston, Deborah Freize Founding Partner at Boston Impact Initiative, and Allan Telio Vice President at Startup Institute. Your continued support of our work and our students is beyond a measurement of gratitude.

This year’s presenting class included: Exquisite Design Concepts, Jesignz Graphix, Token, Purple Fox Events, Boston Speaks, Precious Life, Unorthodox Voix, Community Capital Developers, Inc., Meeno, First Year Project , Swipe Left, and Baraka Wellness.

Our accelerator program could not be possible without the support of our fantastic teachers who volunteer their time and expertise to give our class members a connected, honest, professional, and quality curriculum.

Our awesome teachers include: Chris Rohland, Alec Stern, Adrian Wong, New Leaf Legal, Enrique Shadah, Glynn Lloyd, Anna Tsui, and Paul Krasinski.

Many thanks to Fresh Food Generation (Our First Accelerator Class winners) and Dudley Dough for providing delicious food at the reception. Lastly to all of the friends and family members that were able to make it out in support of our students. The love and support of the community is what allows us to continue to do this work.

Can’t wait to see what the community creates in 2017!
