Making the Most of your Momentum
Epoxy works closely with creators of all sizes, we love learning from creators and celebrating their successes. We thought we’d share a few of the lessons we’ve learned from some of our fastest-growing creators in a new series, called “Creator Tips and Trends”.
As they say, when it rains, it pours. When creators have a video that performs really well, they’ll often times have the attention of an audience and the momentum to have a second successful video. Don’t let your momentum die on one well-performing video. Be sure to create an active upload schedule (and do your best to stick to it). Having lots of frequently uploaded content for your subscribers will give you the best chance of getting follow on views. Now that you’re getting more eyes on your channel, make sure you organize and optimize your channel by titling/tagging your videos properly, and creating playlists.
An Epoxy creator who is making the most of her momentum and setting herself up for success is Beautyybird. Once this beauty guru started gaining traction from a few successful videos, she upped her upload schedule to two or three times a week (many beauty gurus only upload once) so that she would have tons of content to show her growing subscriber base. Another great thing that Beautyybird did to help herself grow was ensure that her viewers were able to easily find all of the videos that they might be interested in watching on her channel. By sorting all of her content into playlists by topic, she is able to maximize her follow on views for fans looking for say all of her videos on fashion.
