EQU is the native token of Equation and aims to become the most powerful DeFi token in history. This vision is built upon its fair launch mechanism and profit-sharing capacity.
Fair Launch
The maximum supply of EQU is 10 million, 100% of which is generated through liquidity mining and referral mining, rewarded to community users. The initial daily emission of EQU is 10,000 (this figure can be adjusted via DAO, but can not exceed 10,000).
There are five ways to earn EQU:
- Hold contract positions. Allocate 50% of the total daily EQU emissions.
- Provide liquidity to Pools. Allocate 8% of the total daily EQU emissions.
- Contribute liquidity to the Risk Buffer Funds (RBFs). Allocate 20% of the total daily EQU emissions.
- EFC Member NFT holders can create referral codes and earn rewards based on the proportion of the referees’ open interest or LP positions. Allocate 20% of the total daily EQU emissions.
- EFC Connector NFT holders can mint Member NFT and earn 10% of its EQU rewards. Allocate 2% of the total daily EQU emissions.
Profit Share
EQU holders can earn income by participating in staking. Holders are entitled to 25% of the protocol’s trading fees and governance rights.
There are two methods to earn income from trading fees:
- Lock EQU directly.
- Lock EQU-ETH LP NFT (from adding liquidity to Uniswap EQU/ETH pool).
For both locking methods, the length of the lock-up period determines the multiplier applied to your earnings. The longer the lock-up period (30, 60, 90 days), the higher the multiplier (1x, 2x, 3x respectively).
