More funding for a bigger and better game!

We’re excited to announce that we recently won a government grant from Innovate UK, the UK’s Innovation Agency, to expand our initial development plans so that we can create a bigger version of Erase All Kittens with Playerthree.

We’ve been busy building and testing different coding and gameplay mechanics and researching topics which aren’t being taught in schools to use in our interactive dialogue, such as entrepreneurism, fake news (and how to spot it) and cyberbullying. We’re also developing more ways to teach Javascript syntax to young children and expanding our overall story and map to include these — will be posting up our new artwork and animations soon!

We’re aiming to complete all prototype mechanics by the end of this year and the new version of E.A.K. by June next year.

Some more good news — we were named one of the UK’s Tech for Good Stars and we now have support from the Mayor of London’s digital team and the Department for Education.
