If you’re interested in 21st Century skills and you’re passionate that these tech skills are open and promoted to young girls as well as the ‘traditional’ boy audience, then you should know about Erase All Kittens (E.A.K.) by now.

E.A.K. is a multi-award-winning online adventure game that introduces professional coding skills, such as HTML, to young people, and inspires girls (especially) to code. The first version has 150,000 players worldwide and more than half of them are girls, as opposed to an estimated 20% for other coding tools. We also recently partnered with MIT and won eight global tech awards last year, including Talent Unleashed, judged by Richard Branson and Steve Wozniak.

We are currently able to offer the game absolutely free to schools — no catch (!) — as we’ve recently secured funding from Innovate UK. This funding will be used to drive the next iteration of E.A.K. which will teach HTML, CSS and Javascript skills, and in the meantime, we want to make sure as many children get the opportunity to play and learn from our existing game as possible.

If you’re interested in finding out more, or would like free accounts for your school, please contact

You can see how the game works here and here’s some feedback from young girls at a school in London.

One last thing — if you have a spare minute, it would incredibly helpful if you could help spread the word about E.A.K. being free. Our aim is to inspire one million girls to code by 2021, so every share counts!

Thanks so much,

Love Team E.A.K.
