The Becoats Foundation and T3CP

A veteran education professional, Eric Becoats has over two decades of experience working as an educator and education administrator in school districts throughout the United States. Outside of his professional obligations, Eric Becoats gives back to the community through organizations such as Becoats Foundation, which he founded in 2013. The foundation was established as a charitable organization dedicated to youth development along with providing youth outreach and empowerment, with a specific focus on serving male students of color.

Through community support-based activities and by collaborating with local organizations, the Becoats Foundation fosters educational, social, emotional, and physical development. The strategies for promoting healthy development is based upon the foundation’s signature framework, the Three C Principle (T3CP).

T3CP stands for character, collaboration, and commitment. These principles are used as building blocks to help young males understand their role and significance in today’s modern world. T3CP emphasizes the importance of community engagement among students and encourages students to take on specific issues that matter to them by working with community organizations and leaders.
