An experienced bookkeeper in New York City, Eric Greenfield serves as principal and lead consultant at Bookkeeping Manhattan. Along with this role, he helps manage his family’s real estate business in New York. In his free time, Eric Greenfield enjoys taking his daughter to one of his favorite places in the city, the SeaGlass Carousel at Battery Park.

The original location of the New York Aquarium, Battery Park now features a pavilion called the SeaGlass, which resembles a chambered nautilus. The 2,575-square foot pavilion was created by wxy architecture and stands out as a unique structure made of glass and steel.

With production design by the George Tsypin Opera Factory, the pavilion’s carousel offers riders a true underwater experience as they ride inside one of 30 iridescent fiberglass fish. Each fish includes LED lights that change colors and an integrated audio system, and the carousel’s light projectors provide a water effect that give riders a mystical 360-degree trip to the bottom of the sea.
