A Hillary Clinton flip
Hillary Clinton voted for the Iraq War. She refused to call her vote a mistake in 2008, and lost the primary. This year, she’s calling it a mistake.
A Bernie Sanders flip
Rachel Maddow interviewed Bernie Sanders in January. Maddow asked Sanders about Planned Parenthood’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton. He said PP is part of the establishment (probably referring to the leader Cecile Richards being friends with Hillary Clinton). A couple of days later, he said PP isn’t part of the establishment.
Equal?
Apparently, the author considers these flips equally serious, or the latter one worse.
However, I consider Hillary Clinton’s flip worse.
Another Hillary Clinton flip involves the TPP trade treaty. The TPP would make medicine unaffordable for millions of poor people in the Third World. As Secretary of State, Clinton called the TPP “the gold standard.” Now she says she’s against it. I don’t trust Hillary Clinton to negotiate fair trade agreements.
