What is true happiness? The first requirement for discovering what happiness is, is to discover what happiness isn’t. That sounds pretty simple huh? Well, this proved to be harder than it’ sounds. We’re very adaptable creatures. We can adjust and adapt to most situations and stuck in a standstill long enough, we can accept the most unacceptable circumstances to an extend that we can imitate happiness. Here’s an example, let’s venture into the mindset of the alcoholic or the addict. I can do this because I lived in that mind for many years.
The alcoholic can slowly and eventually…
So I just have a testimony working with Erik Sean. I remember when we were in the same building years ago and Eric will always say, “you need to come and workout”. I thought, because I was a runner that I really didn’t need to do anything else. Somebody asked me because consistently, consistently, consistently, consistently I said no. Until one day, I ran out of excuses. So I ran out of excuses and I came in and I started to workout. I used to think that working out had to be hard like if you’re not really physically…
When it comes to working out, the most important thing always remember is the matter of form. Your muscles never realize how much weight you’re lifting. What you are lifting, 5 pounds or a 100 pounds. The most important thing, is the resistance that you place them. Form, form, form.
Here we go. You can do it.
So what we are going to do now, is I will show you form, proper form of dumbbell flyes. I see a lot of people elbows in. You want your elbows out and you want to flare out. You don’t want to come back and bend, drop down. You want actually to flare out with the dumbbells.
So hopefully, you can get a good view from there.
Flare, you gonna come down, drop down, good stretch
Flare, good stretch
Again, we want to elongate the muscle. We want to keep the muscle pliable. Get a good stretch. Good range of motion.
It’s your life! Get to livin!
You know a gym is a gym, is a gym, is a gym. I don’t care what gym it is that you join. I don’t care how nice the equipment is. I don’t care how wonderful the classes are. A commitment is what it takes. I ask every single one of the my new clients, to go home, look at the mirror. Make a commitment to themselves that:
They’re worth it
That they will commit to allowing themselves to operate their higher vibrational state. That they want something different and to do this in a regular basis.
Barbell bent over row. There are two different variations that i’m going to show you. The first one, is going to be coming directly up the legs and the other one, is going to be bent over. Both of them, you want to make sure that you keep your back flat. You want to grab the bar, a little bit wider than shoulder-width apart. I i use wraps because my grip isn’t real good and after a while it starts to tire. So the wraps will help you to make sure that you get a good grip on it…
Hey, my name is Scott. I’ve been with Eric since January of this year. I came to him with some goals. I found out about a month later the goals are way too low. Physically, I’ve been in the best shape of my life and first 10. But not only physically but learned mentally how to deal with anxiety and following the mind is actually what empowers the body. That’s what restricts you. …
I often hear people say, I want to know my purpose is. I want to know why I’m here for. What I’m here to do and I think we’re all here for the same thing and we maybe just asking the wrong question. See our purpose is to fit ourselves to be a maximum service to guide the people about it and to love. We’re here to be an open vessel of love, to be able to give love, and receive love. So the true question is, what unique gift do you have that allow you to do that…
I’m here in the gym with Chris, and what we’re doing is a technique, a principle called time and tension. The point is that you keep constant resistance on your muscles for specific amount of time versus keeping count of a certain amount of rep. So right now, we’re going to do leg press and here we go.
He’s going to keep a nice cause of tension, nice pace. He’s going to press with his heels, keeps squeezing the legs. We’re going for a period of 30 seconds. Doing good.
As you can see the weight is not so much heavy. It’s the constant tension that depletes the muscles and we begin to reach muscle fatigue a lot quicker. Very good.
Get into the gym, get your dose.
It’s your life! Get to livin!
You know, we all talk about being more godlike and if you ask 50,000 people what a good definition of God, I guarantee you that you will get 51,000 definitions. I was just sitting here thinking, when I was a little kid, I would ask people. I would say. “Who is God? Where is God? What is God? I would always get a common answer of God is in everything around you. God is in him. God is in her and the thing that they have in common is that they were alive. So I wonder if that means…
