Colours and Skyscrapers

Fall 2019 in #Montreal

Super Year

I couldn’t help heading out this year. The colour season was arguably one of the best we have seen in a while. Coloured leaves and light conjugated to great results.

Sky spectacular

The sky was also a spectacle nearly every day. From a top the Kondiaronk lookout, this sunrise was memorable.

Unbelievable

Sometimes, the light is so unbelievable it has to be photographed.

Mont-Royal

The mountain is our true cathedral

Downtown

Downtown Montreal and Chinatown are as colourful as big city cores can get. Like every other large city, Montreal suffers the pressures of real estate development. However, the presence of three of our largest urban parks, contiguous to downtown, Parc Jean-Drapeau, Parc du Canal de Lachine and Parc du Mont-Royal, as well as the constant vigilance of Montrealers who love their trees, have made my town as colourful as it can get.
