I don’t think I have ever had a weekend this packed and this fun and spent so little to make it happen.

Friday: Dinner at my sister’s, then went to the casino to see a show (our tickets were comped thanks to a well-connected family friend), and my sister sprang for drinks. $0.

Saturday: Went to a base ball game (my mom got free tickets from a giveaway), spent around $16 on concessions. Then took my dad to dinner for his birthday — my brother picked up the bill so I’ll check in with him about how much I owe him.

Sunday: Went to see Half Moon Run, thanks to a friend who had an extra ticket ($35.) I bought us drinks, $17, and checked my coat, $3.

Total: $71.
