Do you really think learning to cook food from other cultures is close to cultural appropriation?

I don’t think enjoying food from other cultures is cultural appropriation, but I’m not too sure about stuff like:
- calling Old El Paso taco kits “Mexican food”
- those hybrid horror recipes you see on Pinterest like “lasagna shepherd’s pie”
- I’m not sure about fusion dishes. Some of them are probably fine but like, a chicken and waffle taco created by a white person? Not sure.
I just really love food, I guess?
