I really want to go hard this weekend, but I might have to go home instead. I’m pretty wiped. But here’s an approximate budget:

$35 for tonight =$15 on admission to my friend’s variety/burlesque show, and I guess $20 on dinner? (There is a one-drink minimum but I’ll ask if I can just eat food instead.)

$20 tomorrow at the new barbecue restaurant* with a group of new friends I’m trying to win over. (I refrained from buying a ticket to see Deadpool with them because I *might* fall asleep and that would be embarrassing.) Maybe throw in an extra $5 or 10 on cheesy Valentines chocolates (see above, where I said I’m trying to win them over.)

I’ll budget an extra $20 on Sunday for drinks at open mic and a cab home.

Total estimate: $80

*I’ve been waiting basically forever for this restaurant to open. $20 sounds like it’ll get me a decent meal but I might bust my budget and ask for all of the meat they have.
