The lack of response to this article isn’t surprising given the current conversation in this country in regards to law enforcement and the criminal justice system. I can understand when a life is lost you want an answer, you want closure, you want a justification. If you believe in the law or this idea of America, that we all work so hard to make a reality, you want justice to be served. However, too often it has been shown that any black man behind bars even an innocent one is just as good as the culprit because somehow the color of that man’s skin is equal to guilt. I hope we see justice for Cleve.
