Oftentimes what actually changes people’s minds is exposure to interactions with the people on the other side. For example if they start to have friends who are brown people or Jewish, they start to become aware of the shared humanity with people of those categories, and let go of the need to cling to dehumanizing stereotypes of the “other.”
If this is a process that intrigues you, I would encourage you to consider finding a way to visit communities where people tend to be right-wing racists, and work with them in person.
