I keep forgetting to blog on Sundays for some reason.
CalAl, hey I’m just learned about Agile and Scrum in one of my classes! It’s just another way to develop an application, right? Before software developers used to use the waterfall method. I should know more about this, but my professor’s voice is monotone, so I daydream instead :P. Good luck with that learning method! I think that learning method should work because it makes you focus on a few chunks of a project at a time. Good on you for thinking about that :).
Midterms went okay. I averaged B’s in all of them. I heard that for a software developer, you mainly need internships and personal projects to get a job (not sure if I said this in a previous post), so honestly not too worried about grades. The main thing that frustrates me about college is the cost. Why not make many things online and save a ton of money for everyone?
I’m also pretty excited for some of my future classes. Since my major includes both software and a little hardware (almost a double major, but not quite), that means I get to learn about circuits and most likely operating systems, or at least that is what the major description says. Also, trying to get my homework done early so I have more free time, maybe I’ll try the Scrum method as well and focus on one thing day. That might actually work. But then I have to motivate myself to learn React. I guess I’ll try Scrum on that as well? Idk, you’ll see by next blog post if it works or not.
Anyways, adios :)
