Robert Scoble and Me

Quinn, I’m sorry this happened to you, and grateful that you’re willing to talk about it. I’m also glad that Robert has accepted some responsibility for his actions and is working on issues with alcohol. (I know from my own errors in judgement that intoxication has been involved in some of the actions I most regret personally.) I think the restorative justice framework is a powerful one to consider, in part because it requires perpetrators to take responsibility for actions as a first step towards resolution. As #metoo and the Weinstein case are forcing important conversations about sexual assault, here’s hoping that a restorative justice framework is one of the solutions we are all able to bring to bear.
