Very interesting question. Maybe and if my predictions many years ago turn out to be true, yes, meetings would be shorter. The problem is that you need to maintain the efficacy of that communication from mouths to ears.

I decided some 27 years ago not to give a sh*t what people think about my speed of speech. It was noticed for the first time aged 10. It adds a lot of energy to talks that I give too and in a way, you can market that to your advantage as long as you piece together a talk that works.

I still get weird looks when I order coffees in Starbucks, where the server’s face pulls back slightly and their eyes widen as if they’ve been showered by a bucket of water thrown in their face. Yet, like your books, when folk get to know me, the speed ceases to be a problem. I stop getting compared to Boomhaur from King of the Hill :)
