Dear Ethel of 5 years ago, please be yourself. Take chances, be risky, commit all the mistakes, learn from them and move on. Don’t sit and gloom. You're imperfect, don't believe otherwise. Don’t strain yourself to commit to a system that directs your life. Be radical and unconventional. Live in the minute but through it all, remember you're always worthy to be loved and that you have never belonged any more than you already do. However, keep in mind that there is a limit to everything, and that at some point in time, being lost in yourself might mean being a detriment to the society. Keep the balance.
