Imagine that you bought last two tickets to the concert but your date is ready to join you only if you find the third one — for her (or his) friend. Of course you can follow the way of Jim Carrey’s character in The Mask who gave away his ticket to his girlfriend’s friend. Unlike in the film where The Loser did not have an option to buy the third ticket, our buyers can do it. …

We believe that the most inspiring presentation of the second day was made by Jimmy Song, Bitcoin core contributor and former VP of Engineering at Armory. He is also known as an active contributor for different Bitcoin open source projects since 2013, blogger and trainer for those engineers who want to join the blockchain developers community. He spoke about the antifragility of Bitcoin. The topic sounds strange, doesn’t it? Especially if we consider fluctuation of the Bitcoin’s rate, political pressure and very special reputation of this cryptocurrency. So we were definitely interested and we were not disappointed. …

What to keep in mind when evaluating the token? — from the investors’ perspective. What is the reason to support blockchain? — the social value of the technology. Community Matters: Blockchain is not only about the technology, that’s about the adoption.

“Whoever did that thing to you-know-who, that good friend of mine, they’re trying to do that to me now, and I’m having a lot of feelings about that. And I’m… and I’m trying to get some… some…” The last word in this quote from the “Analyze this” should be “profit”. …

Right now one of us is working at the Token2049 conference in Hong Kong, and the other is sitting in Israel and waiting for news, predictions and some feedback about the project we are growing. This month was very busy for the whole team as we were preparing the new level of the campaign with the very ambitious target to conquer Asia-Pacific region. We want to be there not only to attract new investors, but also to aggregate secondary ticketing market. We’ll tell you more soon about how it’s going. And now let’s go back to the Crypto Assets Conference that took place in Frankfurt, in the end of February. …

Jevgenis Vainsteins’s speech in front of the audience of the Dallas SuperConference

The third day was very special for us because we presented our project from the scene. We explained what the secondary ticketing market is and why it is important to help individuals and business to resell tickets they have bought for sports, music or other events in a proper way. It means that our mission is to guarantee transaction security, tickets’ validity, timely payment and delivery to customers’ doors or even a venue. We also mentioned that we see the blockchain 2.0 as the technology that can help us to reach our ambitious targets and also that the implementation of blockchain in Q4 2018 allows us to provide customers with the lowest fees (2%), to offer advanced price analytics and forecasts as well as reward customers with cashback. But the main idea why we are going to implement blockchain to the existing platform is to protect customers from the fake tickets. …

James Altucher and Ilia Stechkin after the presentation

Have you ever been to the rock festival? I guess so. Now remember the moment when the frontman just came on the stage checking the microphone. That how it was at the beginning of the second day of the conference. Famous blockchain guru, writer and eccentric millionaire James Altucher opened the program speaking about his view on the crypto industry unfolding in 2018.

Once Tim Leary said that computer geek would be the new hero of mass culture after the rocker. Now we can say that crypto investor today is like a rockstar back in the 1980s. Also the legendary visionist mentioned, that “much of the real action is taking place in what is called cyberspace. People have learned how to boot up, activate, and transmit their brains”. …

Tim Draper: pied piper of Hamelin

Author: Ilia Stechkin

Yesterday our team, Daniil Kruchinin, CEO, Jevgenijs Vainsteins, Strategy director advisor of the project (from Canonical) and Toan Nguyen, adviser responsible for our business development in Europe (from e-Shelter) presented the platform in Germany, at the the Crypto Assets Conference. And I was left in Israel to prepare the next step of our road show. All day long I’m chatting with our fantastic community and team and thinking about the results of the Bitcoin SuperConference in Dallas I visited last week.

Ilia Stechkin, Jevgenijs Vainsteins and Tim Draper before the beginning of the first session

…After Richard Jacobs’ opening remarks, Tim Draper, a famous venture capitalist and crypto enthusiast, spoke about Blockchain, Bitcoin and how they are transforming industries, government and society. His first message was tongue-in-cheek. He said that venture capitalists provided bad service at a high cost. Frankly speaking, I know a lot of entrepreneurs that would agree with him. But then he made the same claim to banking, insurance, health care… And again he is perhaps more truthful than he would like to be. According to Mr. Draper, that’s because all of these industries are heavily regulated by government. That’s why they are what they are. …

As a part of our interview series, covering some of the interesting blockchain projects on the internet, we at NewsBTC spoke to Daniil Kruchnin — the CEO and Founder of ETicket4. We asked a series of questions and this is what he had to say.

NewsBTC: ETicket4 or ET4 — An interesting concept tried by many. How is it different from other ticketing and events platform currently available or under development?

Daniil Kruchinin: We have studied the market well and know our competitors well. To tell the truth, some of them inspired us in due time to create our company — at first in Israel, then in Russia where they don’t have a presence. When creating the platform Eticket4, we took into account the features of the local market, which is quite seriously different from the markets of Western Europe or the United States. This helped us quickly become the leading platform in Russia: the same StubHub, for example, does not have a local office. …
