Oh for sure, she’s definitely discriminated against because she’s Latina. I’m not erasing her Latinidad, but it’s important to note her complacency in the oppression of Latinxs of color.
And there’s nothing wrong with her dying her hair a different color, sorry if I implied that. What I meant to convey is that Kali Uchis and other white Latinx often take on the appearance of brown Latinx when it benefits them. They don’t have to deal with the consequences of being brown or black, but they do get the extra “exotic” factor. It’s similar to how Iggy Azalea was criticized for playing into a black stereotype.
