Oh bummer. I wonder why those are not sealed. I was thinking the spindle was rotating from the air system somehow, and perhaps you needed an oiler inline, until I saw the coils. Yeah I think the sealed ones will work better, hopefully they don’t cause too much friction, but I doubt it with that beefy motor.
Do you think it is worth the time to setup a vacuum system that sits right near the tip and vacuum’s debris as you mill? Probably hard for any system to keep up with how much it is shaving off.
Keep up the good work, everything is looking awesome. Can’t wait to get my deposit in line, hopefully in the spring. So excited to see the model fly.
