How Digital Currency Will Change The World
Brian Armstrong

This is all true but the leadership in most, if not all, nations only want so much prosperity for the proletariat. Most regimes or government administrations want just enough prosperity to insulate the government from dissent and disfavor, but not too much to show the people that they really don’t need the government much at all.

Governments are much more interested in uplifting the government’s power than that of their citizens. Just look at the U.S., for a prime example.

It’s all about control, and protection from any competition for that power, economic or otherwise. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And the best and fastest way to control a populace is to control its currency. All of it.

It’s as primitive, but powerful, political paradigm. You know what they say. Power is nothing without control.
